Must Watch On Netflix

Squid Game

One of the most popular shows on Netflix currently, and I am expecting to be the most popular/viewed show on Netflix. Squid Game is a South Korean Netflix series. Squid Game is about a group of people invited to play a series of children’s games to win a grand prize of money, losing would cost your life, only one will win. Twists and turns through every single episode, it left you feeling like you never actually knew what was going on. It showed the darkest parts of humanity, betraying your allies to survive, becoming the darkest part of yourself. This show was unlike anything I have ever watched I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new binge worthy show.

Nailed It

Nailed it a funny and relatable baking show. Where three armatures at home bakers try to re-create professional masterpieces, whoever comes closest to creating the masterpiece wins 10,000 dollars. I thought that it was entertaining that all the contestants are armature bakers, so they know little to nothing about baking. It was expected that the contestants were going to fail. I genuinely laughed at each episode because of how bad the contestants baking was and because of what the host and judges had to say about the contestant’s bakes. I would recommend it if you were looking for an easy watch.

Chicago Med

The top hospital in Chicago has a team of devoted nurses, doctors, and surgeons who face difficult and impossible situations every day. Every episode had a drawing beginning, so you found yourself wanting to watch until the very end. Always new cases, each crazier than the last. This show and reflected a lot of current problems we face in our country like abortion, sexual assault, abuse, systematic issues, racism, gun violence, mental health, human rights, addiction, etc. This show does an excellent job of showing big and current problems within our country, which is an effective way to get conversations started to talk about these issues.
