November 9th Book Review

If you are into romance and big plot twists books, November 9th by Colleen Hoover would be an interesting book to read. Very unexpected events occur and although it is fiction, it takes your mind out of reality for a little, like a distraction. I really enjoyed reading this book and although it took me less than a week to read, I wish I could read it for the first time again, because I felt so many emotions while reading it. A girl, Fallon, met a boy, Ben, while having lunch with her father and who knew that he was going to be the greatest love she’d experience, but also her biggest heartbreak. They agreed to meet up once a year on November 9th for the next five years until she felt like she was in a place to be in a relationship.

I know people are into books as well. Juliana Morelos also has read this book, so I decided to ask her a few questions about how well she liked the book.

Juliana states that, “It made me want a relationship like theirs because of they way they guy loved the girl, and it made me sad thinking they were never going to see each other again.”

This book is not only about love but it also was unexpected as Juliana says, “I did not expect it all, but I liked the way the author planned it out.”

Fallon soon finds out a secret that Ben has kept from Fallon and the real way Ben knows Fallon and it wasn’t just by accident that he happened to be in the same restaurant as her and her father. The author did well keeping the suspension high through the chapters and it was something different then most romance novels. This book showed a different type of love story and showed how people make mistakes but can either be fixed or you would just have to move on and live with the uneasy feeling that Ben had left Fallon while finding out the biggest secret he could’ve ever hidden from her.

This was overall a good love story that will make you feel so many emotions at once and will also leave you thinking. If you’re interested in the book, it is available at many local stores such as Walmart, Target, Amazon, etc.
