What’s the most rewarding thing about your role?
“My most rewarding thing is being able to work with young men and young ladies, mainly young men because their moving from their most selfish part of their life to becoming selfless young men, they’re going to be leaders in this world now our students has a whole are the greatest in the world that the main reason why I love this school and love working here.”
What are some of the biggest challenges you faced in your role?
“Having tough conversations, sometimes students make mistakes, and it’s my job to help them understand they made a mistake and get them back to school.”
When you were younger, was this what you always wanted to be?
“No, I wanted to be a Muffet.”
How long have you been in this role?
“As an assistant principal, I think this is my 8th year in education, 26 years, and administration, 19 years, and this is my 1st year being a high school athletic director. I stepped into that role to help out.”
Do you have any kids?
“4, my son goes here, you know that?”
My favorite animals?
“A bulldog, English, I had one, he passed away.”
What is your favorite quote?
“The world breaks everyone, and afterward, some are strong at the broken places.“
Favorite meals?
“Macaroni and hot dogs”
Did you play any sports growing up?
“Little league baseball a year or two grig kids, 1 year of football in high school and 2 years of wrestling, but no I wasn’t too involved in sports, but you know what i love watching them.”
Any advice you would give out to administrators or teachers?
“It’s about growth, where our students start with where they end out is completely different, and the greatest thing about that is to see that growth as they move on to be young men and women that are going to leave this school.”
