In the Tri-Cities, there are 156 parks, but which one will be the perfect park for you this summer? No matter if you like to go on runs, fishing, picnics, or more, there will be a park that fits all your needs and wants. First park I will talk about is Columbia Park Trail in Kennewick, this park is 400 acres in size, it includes barbecue areas for you took cook some great foods while looking at a fantastic view of the river, basketball and soccer field for you and your friends and family to play in the sun, don’t forget your sunscreen, trails for you to run, walk, jog all around the park, also includes a skate park, which I think is pretty cool, you can meet new people and friends there and learn new tricks and moves this summer, there is also a fishing area for you to catch something nice, something very unique about this park is that there is a golf course for you and your friends to play some games and a nice restaurant next to it. Another park is Chiawana Park in Pasco, this park 112 acres in size, this park has a boat launch, so you and your family can go on boat rides this summer, it also has a volleyball court, some picnic shelters, big enough to have a small get together under, some trails to go on some morning/evening walks on, something unique about this park is that it has a little forest walk way where I see many people getting their photos done. It always looks so beautiful to walk through. Another Park in the Tri-Cities is Howard Amon Park in Richland, this park is 45.9 acres in size, this park has a 7 mile trail, some picnic shelters and barbecue areas, so you can have a nice meal while watching the river with friends and family, also has a fishing area and a wading pool for little kids can cool down and swim for a while, includes a tennis court and basketball court, Somethings that are unique about this park is that it also has a climbing wall for all levels and as a well and a stage for concerts that happen once and a while so keep on the look out for those. The last park I’m going to mention is Wade Park in Pasco. This park is 25 acres in size, it includes a boat launch for the boat rides this summer, trails for the walks with your friends, and picnic tables to enjoy a nice lunch on a hot summer day. These are some parks around the Tri-Cities that I recommend for this summer. We only have a few days left, and the sun will shine bright every day, so don’t forget your sunscreen and water and visit a park one day. Maybe it will be the perfect park for you this summer.
