This week, I got to interview 4 students from PHS about what they like about summer. I interviewed them to see the different perspectives of their summers, and also what makes their summer more fun.
( I asked the following questions to all four students )
1. What do you like about summer?
Student #1: ” My favorite things about summer are that we don’t have school to worry about, and also we get to swim at the pool, and we also can’t forget about the beautiful sunny days and also getting to wear shorts and going on vacation.”
Student #2: ” What I mostly like about summer is the sunsets and late-night walks and drives, and also the cold, refreshing treats.”
Student #3: ” What I like about summer is getting to spend time with my family and going on vacation, walking to the beach, and also not having any school.”
Student #4: ” What I mostly love about summer is going out on a hot sunny day with my family and buying cold drinks to keep us refreshed. I also love playing fun games during summer, such as volleyball, water fights, etc. ”
2Whatat are your hobbies gonna be this summer?
Student #1: “My hobbies during the summer are swimming, being outside a lot, and gardening because it’s just so fun.
Student #2: “What my hobbies are gonna be this summer is probably going out to the pools, going shopping, going to parties, hanging out with my family and friends”
Student #3: “What my hobbies are for the summer are going to the gym, starting a TV series, going out for bike rides, and also going out a lot.”
Student #4: “My hobbies during summer are going to the park with my family and friends to have fun picnics and play volleyball, etc.”
3. Do you have any plans this summer? And what are they?
Student #1: “Yes, I do have plans, very fun plans this summer. My family and I will be going out to Legoland in California, and we are also planning to buy a pool for our home.”
Student #2: “My plans this summer are going on vacation with my family and also going out to the pools with my friends.”
Student #3: “My plans this summer are to go to Lake Chelan with my family because last time we went over there was so fun, so we wanted to do it again.”
Student #4: “My plans this summer are going to Universal Studios with my family because we go there almost every summer, or we’re probably going camping since we have been planning to since the beginning of the school year.”
4. Are there any goals you want to achieve during summer?
Student #1: “One of my biggest goals I want to achieve this summer has to be learning how to drive so I can go almost anywhere. Apart from that, I also want to learn more about my baking skills.”
Student #2: “My goals I want to achieve this summer are to do things I’ve never done or go sky diving to get over my fear of heights.”
Student #3: “My goals I want to achieve are to go to the gym to look good and enjoy every second of my summer, and enjoy time with my family and friends.”
Student #4: “My goals for this summer are to become a better version of myself and also enjoy my summer since I didn’t last year, and I also would like to go for walks with my friends.”
5. What is one thing you’re looking forward to this summer?
Student #1: “One thing I’m looking forward to this summer has to be my vacation to Legoland.”
Student #2: “One thing I’m looking forward to this summer is the beach.”
Student #3: “Things I’m looking forward to this summer are being able to wear summer clothes and not going to school, and also going to a coffee shop.
Student #4: “A few things I’m looking forward to this summer are having picnics with my family and also not having to be worried about school.”
