Sunday May 11 the day after prom I decided to interview a couple of the students who went to prom to find out what they thought about prom and how there experience was.

(I started by asking the following questions to the students)

1. What did you think about the prom?

Meztli: “Prom is a fun day to dress nice, save money for the school, and make memories.”

Jami: ”My thoughts on prom were that I expected more fun songs, but honestly, they didn’t have as many fun songs .”

Student 1: “What I think about prom is a dance party for high school students. It’s for anyone who needs a weekday night out.”

Student 2: “I think prom was good!”

Isabeli: “I thought the place was beautiful, the music was excellent, everyone enjoyed the night by dancing, and the night was fun.”

2. What was your favorite moment from prom?

Meztli: “My favorite moment about prom was buying drinks from the truck that’s outside, and I also enjoy taking pictures with my friends.”

Jami: “My favorite moments from prom was taking cute pictures with my boyfriend!.”

Student 1: “My favorite prom moment is taking a picture in the Photo Booth.”

Student 2: “My favorite moment from prom was dancing with my friends.”

Isabeli: “My favorite moment from prom was that everyone was always having fun, and dancing was also enjoyable.”

3. Was there anything you didn’t enjoy?

Meztli: “Some things I didn’t enjoy about prom were the limited seating and the song choices.”

Jami: “Something I didn’t enjoy from prom that could have been better, honestly, that there weren’t enough tables for people to sit at, and the music.”

Student 1: “I enjoyed everything ;)”

Student 2: “My feet hurt from dancing, but that’s ok, cause it was worth the fun!”

Isabeli: “Not much, maybe just the line to take pictures in front of the mansion.”

4. Did everything go as you expected?

Meztli: ”Yes, everything did go as expected. I had a fun time.”

Jami: “Everything went as I expected, and it was lots of fun.”

Student 1: “Yes! Everything went well, as I had imagined.”

Student 2: “I guess it did, I didn’t expect too much besides having a good time with friends.”

Isabeli: “I would say it went better than I expected.”

5. What was the funniest or most unexpected thing that happened?

Meztli: “The funny or most unexpected moment that happened was seeing others from different schools. I’m happy we have the choice to invite guests.

Jami: “The most unexpected part of prom was that one of my old classmates got nominated as princess!”

Student 1: “The unexpected moment was coming across old friends from other high schools.”

Student 2: “The most unexpected thing that happened was that people were getting thrown into the air on the dance floor.”

Isabeli: “Something unexpected happened when they threw someone in the air while dancing.”

6.  Are you happy with how the night turned out?

Meztli: “I am happy the night turned out; it was a fun experience.”

Jami: “I’ll say yes it was a pretty great and successful night I had lots of fun.”

Student 1: “Yes! I was happy with how the night turned out; I enjoyed the dance and getting ready.”

Student 2: “Yes, I am happy with how the night turned out.”

Isabeli: “Yeah, I am because everything was good.”

7. Is there anything you would change about prom?

Meztli: “One thing I would change about it would be the song choices.”

Jami: “If I could change anything, it would be the music because I enjoy dancing.”

Student 1: “I wouldn’t change anything from my opinion.”

Student 2: ”I wouldn’t change anything! It was fun!”

Isabeli: “No, I wouldn’t change anything about it.”
