Will Marvel movies gain popularity next year because of their upcoming Avengers: Doomsday? If you like watching or like Marvel movies, you will know that ever since Avengers: Endgame ended, Marvel movies have been doing okay or badly because of their lack of impactful stories and the shifting focus to new characters and expanded media. None of the movies have been connecting, and we don’t know how it’s going to set up the next big movie.

Let’s start with the negative side of the topic. The multiverse saga hasn’t captured audiences like the Infinity Saga. There’s no central, unifying storyline or a charismatic lead figure like Iron Man or Captain America. We know the new Captain America (Sam Wilson) is trying to set up a new Avengers team, but there are still many reasons why the new movies for the new members aren’t doing well. A lot of the movies’ CGI is not that good, which makes people add more hate to it. For example, in the film Captain America: Brave New World, they promote Red Hulk a lot, but he’s literally at the end of the movie for ONLY 10 minutes! Which people found it upsetting.

Another example is about the movie Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The CGI in the whole movie was terrible, making it one of the worst MCU projects. People were saying that their suits seemed too cheap and unrealistic, and even one of the main villains would be the main villain in the next Avengers movie, but it was soon canceled. Lastly, another movie that was so terrible is Thor: Love and Thunder. Chris Hemsworth, the actor of Thor, was so embarrassed by how much the movie failed and hated it that he said he would stop playing Thor. Is something like that ever going to happen again?

The positive side is their upcoming Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. Marvel has been trying to keep up with their newest movies to connect them to the next big project. What people love about the latest movies is a better connection with the characters and better end credits, which will show the story’s importance. What people are mostly loving for the next Avengers is their recast on their favorite hero’s, for example Robert Downey Jr. As (Doctor Doom), All the old X-Men character are getting brought back and just a lot of new teams for instance, The Thunderbolts/new Avengers, Fantastic four, and probably even more. For this reason, it’s what’s making people hyped for this movie and causing it to gain popularity, so we will see how the future of Marvel will be.
