Have you ever wondered what your next steps will be? As the academic year of 2024-2025 comes to an end, it’s normal to ask yourself these questions. Teachers who have watched their students grow often offer the best advice. They not only help you learn but also encourage you to make the most of your remaining time in school. For seniors, this is the last year to enjoy those high school moments before you step into a new chapter in life, one where you’ll find yourself asking, “What do I do now?”
I asked a few teachers here at PHS to share their best advice for seniors. Here’s what they had to say:
– Ms. Frodel: “If someone tells you that you can’t achieve a certain goal, work hard to prove them wrong. Saying ‘I told you so’ is very satisfying!”
– Ms. McCoy: “Put your future self first.”
– Ms. Jessie: “Be strong-minded and don’t let mental health get in the way.”
–Ms. Hilty: “Don’t forget you are loved. Keep shining like the star you are.”
– Mr. Stamper: “Pursue what you want to pursue. Don’t hold yourself back because you think you can’t do something.”
Thank you to all these teachers for their valuable advice, and good luck to everyone graduating in 2025!
