Graduation is only nine days away. Seniors are getting ready to officially become adults and start their new lives after school. I decided to ask them about their plans after graduation and hopefully inspire underclassmen.
Q: What does your life look like after graduation?
STUDENT 1: “My life after graduation looks like becoming a hairstylist and lash tech, I plan on going to cosmetology school, when I finish, I also plan on getting more cliental working and becoming better with my career, and building my social media based on my work also becoming a travel hairstylist and lash tech so I can become world wide.”
STUDENT 2: “My life after graduation is to study medicine (doctor) because I want to help people in the world and learn about the human body and how it works.”
STUDENT 3: “My dream after graduation is to be in the music industry. I want to learn all about instruments and their different sounds. And I want to make my own music and write my own songs.”
STUDENT 4: “I’m not sure what my life after graduation will look like. Hopefully, it will be something good and a good job to keep me going, but I can figure it out as I go.”
STUDENT 5: “Going to college, and having a good career or job.”
STUDENT 6: “I plan to have many careers like photography, or something to do with floral arrangement, because I love flowers, and I have my own little business of bouquets, and many people order from me, so I think that would be something that I like in my future. I’ve also taken photography classes before, and they really got me into taking pictures and learning how to use cameras and stuff like that.”
STUDENT 7: “I want to be involved in real estate and learn more about it and what it is exactly. I’ve heard many people make a lot of money from it, and I’m interested in it.”
STUDENT 8: “My future looks like being a teacher, I haven’t decided what grades I would like to teach but definitely something in elementary because I feel like I wouldn’t be able to handle middle schoolers or high school because there’s a lot of mean kids and I don’t want to have to deal with that, I’ve been thinking about teaching 4th or 1st grade, I love kids so I would love to be a teacher, and teach kids how to read and write and all of that.”
STUDENT 9: “My life after graduation is to be involved in the police industry like a cop. I grew up watching those kinds of shows and movies, and I’ve always been interested in that. I have a few family members who are cops as well, and they always taught me different things about what they do in their job and how hard it is, but I think they have inspired me to become a cop, and I want to learn how to protect others and follow laws too.”
STUDENT 10: “Definitely being a counselor or therapist because I have dealt with a lot and struggled with mental health issues, so I would love to help others out. My family encourages me to follow my dreams and be a great help to those who need it and if that career doesn’t work or its not good for me, then I would maybe like to be a counselor for a school or something like that, being able to help others would make me so happy. But I’ve also been considering being a teacher only if plan A doesn’t work out.
