How would you describe yourself?  Mr. Mezger described himself as “busy”

Have you ever previously taught at any other school besides PHS? “Yes, I taught at Chiawana High School, Grandview High School, Sunnyside High School, Ki-Be High School, and at Nevada.”

What do you do for fun in your free time? “I enjoy concerts, The Seattle Seahawks, watching the mariners’ games, skydiving, adventures, jumping off stuff and all kinds of crazy stuff I also enjoy hiking and climbing.”

What is one thing you have on your bucket list? “To go to every Football and Baseball stadium in the United States,” and added that “so far has only gotten through half of them.”

Who is your favorite artist? If so, what song do you like from them? “Metallica is my favorite band and my favorite song is ‘One’.”

 If you had one wish you could make come true, what would it be and why? “I wish that everyone in the world cared for each other and thought of others rather than themselves.”

What part of your job do you most enjoy and why? “The moment when somebody starts to understand something they couldn’t and start believing and flipping their mentality.”

Who was your inspiration to start teaching? “My inspiration was my mom, who was also a teacher.”

What’s one mistake you’ve learned the most from? “Trying to impress people with an expensive car and paying a lot of interest on it instead of investing it, where it could go and help.”
