Halloween is my favorite time of the year, and I was really excited for Field of Screams. My cousins and I decided to check it out, hoping that we would be scared.
When I first walked in, my honest thought was that it looked pretty boring, not very much activity. When we got into the scare, there was a guy with a chainsaw, which made it scary for the most part.
But then you start thinking about the price we spent. “We spent 25, almost 30 dollars for it to end up being 10 minutes.” My cousin said.
As for what we did, we first went to get the wrist bands, and they had one actor when u walk in, then we went to an employee to get instructions, and from there she told us where to go, and the walk there was longer than the actual scare. It was a very short maze, and then we walked back. The walk felt way longer than the actual maze part.
Looking back on the whole thing, I’d say I did have fun for some part. Going with my cousins definitely made it more fun, and we had lots of laughs. But still, we only picked one experience, and I still expected more for the price. With that fact, it ended up being 10 minutes, and the walk over there was much longer didn’t make it any better, and half of the actors were gone that day. It was a bit disappointing that not all the actors were there, and for the price, I expected more time in the actual scare.
So, would I go back? I personally would not, just because of how boring it was. The chainsaw actor was the highlight, but other than that, it wasn’t super exciting. The only fun actor was the chainsaw. I will be trying other haunted houses or a maze in Tri-Cities. I’m hoping to find a place that’s longer and gives you more for your money. The Field of Screams was okay, but I’m looking for something worth the price next time.
