I decided to write about a Pasco High Senior who might not ever step on the court, field, track or bases again.  To also see which ones will continue there journey and play beyond high school.

Pictured below is Jona Flores.  He is the goalkeeper for our PHS Varsity Soccer Team.  Here is some of the things he had to say about his experience competing for Pasco:

“It a great experience it helps having great coaching that keep’s you on track. And being with a team that always has a great time together in training so overall it was an amazing four years of my life”.

Jona will continue his journey at Warner Pacific University.

”It’s exciting- somthing new in a way starting from zero again being the new player but going to make my mark and fight for the starting job. Trust GOD during the process and work harder then everyone else”

Next is Catalina Trevino she is one of the outfielders in our PHS softball team and this is what she had to say about her experience at PHS:

”It makes me sad because I’ve been playing this since I was a kid and it’s a sport that I’m really close to”

Next is Mireyah Lopez. Captain and starter in our girls basketball team at PHS and here are some of the things she had to say about her experience at PHS:

”I feel sad knowing it going to be my last time playing with my girls a Pasco. But I’m not just done yet and I’m exited that I get to play at the next level. I’m super grateful for this opportunity because all the hard work has finally paid off.

Next up is Liyah Allen. A captain of the cheer team and this is what she had to say about he experience at PHS:

”I had mixed feelings. Happy because it’s over and it took a toll on my body. But sad because I’m not going to see my cheer sisters and coach

Last is Madeline Dorendorf. Captain of the girls soccer She played center and mid. Here are some of the things she had to say about her experience competing for PHS:

“This is how I feel about potentially being my last time playing sports for the last time is bitter sweet because all my life sports have been a full time commitment so it’s made it hard to get a job like regular kids and hangout with friends. However I love playing sports and it’s always been my getaway to relieve my stress.”
