For this week’s article, we interviewed Miss Sam and asked her a few questions about teaching at Pasco High School.
As we dug a little deeper into her background and motivations, Miss Sam shared that her family played a key role in inspiring her to become a teacher. She has been teaching at the school for about four to five months, but she has been at Pasco High for approximately seven years. It is clear that she is passionate about her job. Her favorite spot at Pasco High is the athletic training clinic, where she also serves as the athletic trainer after school.
Miss Sam enjoys creating a safe space for her students. During our interview, she offered some great advice: “Keep working your hardest and always strive to do your best, but realize that mistakes can happen, and that just makes you better.”
