For this week’s article, we reached out to the cheerleaders from Pasco High to ask why they joined the team. While they all share a passion for cheerleading, their future plans vary. Some are deeply committed to cheer and wish to continue after high school, focusing on improving their skills and striving to be the best they can be. Some dream of cheering in college or even making it onto a professional team.

However, not everyone intends to cheer forever. Some cheerleaders have different interests they want to pursue after high school, such as furthering their education or starting a career. Despite their diverse plans, they all cherish their time on the cheer squad. They enjoy the fun, the performances, and the camaraderie with their friends.
