1. How would you describe yourself to someone who doesn’t know you?
I would describe myself as hardworking, creative, and determined. I like setting goals for myself and working toward them, whether it’s in school or my business.
2. What has your senior year been like so far?
My senior year has been exciting but also stressful. I’ve been balancing school, my business, and thinking about my future after graduation.
3. What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I plan to attend CBC and major in business. I want to continue learning about entrepreneurship and growing my business.
4. What career or dream are you hoping to pursue?
My dream is to become a successful business owner. I hope to expand my chocolate-covered strawberry business and maybe start other businesses in the future.
5. What has been the hardest part about figuring out your future?
The hardest part has been deciding what path is right for me while also considering other people’s expectations. It can be difficult to trust your own choices sometimes.
6. What is your favorite memory from high school?
One of my favorite memories is participating in school events with my friends and making memories during my senior year. Those moments made high school more fun and meaningful.
7. How do you think high school changed you as a person?
High school helped me become more independent and responsible. Running a business while being a student taught me a lot about time management and perseverance.
8. What are you most excited about after graduation?
I’m most excited about starting college, meeting new people, and taking steps toward my career goals.
9. What are you most nervous about?
I’m nervous about adjusting to college and having more responsibilities, but I’m also excited for the challenge.
10. Who or what motivates you the most?
My family motivates me the most. I want to make them proud and show that hard work can help you achieve your goals.
11. What is something people misunderstand about seniors?
People sometimes think seniors have everything figured out, but many of us are still trying to decide what we want to do and are nervous about the future.
12. What advice would you give underclassmen?
Don’t wait until senior year to get involved or start thinking about your future. Try new things, stay on top of your schoolwork, and enjoy your time in high school because it goes by fast.
