Being a student can be more challenging than it seems. Many students are dealing with their own problems, and many of them may not know who God is, or, if they do, may not know how to get closer to Him. The Unashamed Club is designed to teach how to surrender your problems to Christ and live a Christ-like life. Meetings are held in Room 231 every other Tuesday during second lunch.
This club connects with students through activities, Bible studies, and testimonies from fellow students, along with, of course, pizza. It is founded on faith and serves as a sanctuary for all students, regardless of their backgrounds or struggles. The club emphasizes developing a spirit of support and comfort among members. One of the main highlights of the Unashamed Club is its ability to help students turn their lives to Christ. Many students who have dealt with anxiety, depression, addiction, and suicidal thoughts are now sharing their stories with the community. By sharing their experiences, they learn they are not alone and encourage others struggling with similar issues.
You don’t have to be a Christian or belong to any particular religion to attend the Unashamed Club—just come with an open and willing heart. The club reassures all attendees that even if they don’t believe in Christ or follow a different religion, they are always welcome. Don’t let any hesitations hold you back from attending; the club will always be there, welcoming everyone with open arms. No matter your background or testimony, you will find support by your side. You are not alone; many other students have similar experiences. Don’t hesitate to reach out for something positive rather than negative.
Even if you think you’re just going for the pizza with friends or to play games, God may have placed that desire in your heart to attend. Little do you know that He will continue to work in you and help you grow. If you already attend the club, please spread the word and invite others, even if you don’t know them. You never know how much your invitation might help someone else.
