Color Expert

Are specialized in color theory, use color psychology demographic statistics, and current trends. They are to give guidance and advice of color schemes and elements for both interior and exterior designs. The job consists of overlooking your client’s home, getting to know lighting and layout, then showing color schemes and designs to clients for them to choose which they like best.  This is a fun job, you are free to use your creativity. 

Qualifications are: Does not require training, although most color experts have formal education in design, psychology, and fine arts. 

Flavor Chemist

 By using chemistry they form natural and artificial flavors. Flavor chemists’ study synthesizes chemicals, flavoring extracts, test flavor combinations, and judge you are your results of food combinations. Usually, these chemists work within a lab to better evaluate their work. The flavors that are created from these chemists are used in beverages, foods, toothpaste, medicines, pet foods, nutritional supplements, lip balms, and perfume etc.  

This job is overly complicated and difficult. The qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in a chemistry, biology, or food field, and experience in a laboratory environment. According to Job Monkey “apprenticeship is mandatory to learn trade properly.”  

                                                                                                                                                           Art Therapist

This form of psychotherapy includes self-expression in a visual way, by painting, drawing, and modeling. Art therapy is used with children, adolescents, and adults. This form of therapy can help people dissect their emotions, relieve stress, manage addictions, improve self-esteem, improve depression and anxiety, and cope with a physical disability or illness, trauma, and improve cognitive and sensory motor function.  There are a few forms of art therapy, the first form of art therapy is Analytic therapy. Analytic art therapy is to make clients more conscious of their cognitive system, and where their behavioral responses come from, and they might be able to control their feelings, thoughts, actions, and behaviors. The second form of art therapy is Utilize, this art therapy is the psychologist analyzing their clients artwork. 

Qualifications for the job include must have a master’s degree, and at least 750 hours (about 1 month) of clinical placement. 

Doula

Someone who is trained provides support and guidance to another who is pregnant, in labor, experiencing miscarriage, induced abortion and still birth. Doulas might also provide comfort for their client’s family, friends, and partner. Doulas are not health care professionals they are simply someone who provides support to their clients through an important health experience. Doulas may show support to their clients by reassurance, encouragement, praise, listening to birth persons requests, and debriefing after delivery. 

According to the DONA International website it said, “Countless scientific trials examining doula care demonstrate remarkably improved physical and psychological for both the mother and the baby.” This clearly shows the enormous positive impact of doulas have. Qualifications to become a doula are complete 7-12 hours of childbirth education, 16 hours of birth Doula training, and attend 2-5 births.  

Bike Courier

 Is someone who delivers mail to Law offices, banks, hospitals, businesses, etc., but on bike. Responsible for delivering documents, gifts, DVD’s, CD’s, clothes, medical papers, instruments, and about anything your mail man through UPS would deliver. These bike couriers must keep a record of all deliveries, payments, signatures, and other crustal information. It is crucial for couriers to have a route planned out prior to delivery. Many companies like delivery’s done by bike couriers because they can get packages/mail delivered quicker than a normal mail man. Bike couriers do not have to deal with traffic and can get to you more efficiently. 

Qualifications for this job are a high school diploma, experience working as a bike courier, knowledge of road safety regulations, working well under pressure, and ability to use GPS device. This job requires you to be in decent shape with all physical labor. 

Park Ranger

Oversees the state and national parks and mountains. Their main duty is to make sure visiting sponsors remain safe and follow laws, security, emergency response and education, conservation, and maintenance. Responsibilities of these rangers according to better team are “Greeting visitors and explaining the rules and safety regulations, performing emergency care such as CPR first aid, search and rescue, and assisting with stopping or contain forest fires, and contain tours and educational presentations.”  

Qualifications are: High School diploma, Bachelor’s, must be 21 years old
