In my opinion, winter sports are the best season for sports, not just in school, but also outside of school. We got Hockey, skiing and snowboarding, basketball, swimming, and diving.
Inside the school, the list is very similar, but instead we have Girls’ and Boys’ basketball, Boys’ swim, Bowling, Cheer, Dance, and Girls’ and Boys’ wrestling. Now I know that some of those options may not be your cup of tea, and that’s okay. The majority of the spring sports start winter workouts sometime before or after winter break.

I know a lot of you are probably wondering, “When does it start?” All of the winter sports start on November 17th. If you have questions about anything, you can go ask our athletic staff, which would be Kim Mercado, Jerry Caoile, and Shana Chavez
If you are thinking about joining, you should definitely try out for a team, even if you don’t end up liking it. At least you tried. This is a good way for spring sports athletes to stay in shape (We all know that thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years food hits different) just because it’s not your season right now doesn’t mean you should be a bum till spring comes around. ALSO PLEASE SUPPORT ALL OF OUR TEAMS, NOT JUST THE BOYS. Schedules will be posted on Minga and MaxPreps, along with opportunities to try out.
