CHRISTMAS IS COMING FAST!! Knowing what Christmas movies are the best to watch this season is a must! When it comes to Christmas movies, there’s something special about them that brings out the holiday spirit in all of us. From heartwarming classics to laugh-out-loud comedies, there’s a Christmas movie for every mood and taste. So whether you’re snuggled up by the fire or enjoying some hot cocoa, let’s explore the magic of Christmas movies together.

Here at Pasco High School, we’ve interviewed some students asking them what their favorite Christmas film was and why. Our first interview was with a student named Heraclio. We asked him some questions about the film, and here are those responses.

What’s your favorite all-time Christmas movie and why?

“The Nightmare Before Christmas because I used to watch it with my aunt growing up and I also enjoy the Halloween aspect of it too.”

Would you recommend your favorite Christmas movie to anyone and why?

“Definitely! It’s great, has parts of almost every genre, it’s altogether a feel-good movie.”

Does watching your favorite Christmas movie become your Christmas tradition?

“It has not but I have considered making it a Christmas tradition.”

Do you enjoy the soundtrack of the film?

“Yes, yes I do!”

Do you have a favorite scene from the movie, and why?

“My favorite scene from the movie would probably have to be when Jack Skeleton finds the forest that has the doors that lead to the other holidays.”

The next Pasco High student was Lizeth. Here’s her responses to the questions we asked her.

“Rise of the Guardians because it shows the significance of believing in Christmas.”

“I definitely would because it’s very entertaining to watch!”

Does watching your favorite Christmas movie become your Christmas tradition?

“It’s not necessarily a Christmas tradition, I just enjoy watching it whenever, no matter the season.”

Do you enjoy the soundtrack of the film?

“Yes I do, I find it relaxing.”

Do you have a favorite scene from the movie, and why?

“The scene in the movie where they are all sledding in the snow, it brings back so many memories for me.”

Another student we interviewed was Ace. He responded by saying,

What’s your favorite all-time Christmas movie and why?

“Lucy Shimmers and the Prince of Peace. I enjoy watching this film because it’s quite funny but also sad.”

“I would recommend it if people enjoy a mix of happy and sad in their movies.”

Does watching your favorite Christmas movie become your Christmas tradition?

“Yes! Of course, it has become a Christmas tradition, I always watch it with friends and family.”

Do you enjoy the soundtrack of the film?

“Yes, it makes me feel happy when those happy songs are playing, but then when the sad songs play it changes my mood.”

Do you have a favorite scene from the movie, and why?

“Yes I do, my favorite scene from the movie is the part where the main character Lucy tells her dad this funny saying which I tend to laugh at because I think it’s funny coming from a 5-year-old.”
