The Boston Celtics are the real deal this NBA season

The Boston Celtics are the real deal this NBA season

The Boston Celtics currently hold the best record in the NBA sitting 46-12 they’re looking to win their record-setting 18th championship after a 15-year championship drought.

This NBA season, the Celtics have a chance and as of now are looking like the favorites to win it all. With Jayson Tatum and Jalen Brown, the Celtics have 2 all-stars in their team with this duo they have already proven that they can make it to the NBA finals. In 2022 the Celtics made it to the NBA finals where they lost to the Golden State Warriors in 6 games.

The Celtics rank among the top 5 teams in scoring with an average of 120.7 points per game they also are the best rebounding team in the NBA they are ranked number one in rebounding with a average of 47.1 rebounds per game. The Celtics also rank top 10 in shooting with an average percentage of 48.4% from the field as of today the Celtics are on a 9-game winning streak they are looking scary coming out of the Eastern Conference.

The Celtics defense ranks number one in defensive rating with a rating of 110.6 they are the best defense team in the NBA. With all of these stats taken into account, the Celtics look like the favorites to win the NBA championship this NBA season the only team that can give them a battle is the defending champs the Denver Nuggets which I have coming out of the west to make the finals again to face the Boston Celtics.

The Celtics have a well-rounded team. Jrue Holiday is one of the best defending guards in the league and they brought him in via a 3-team trade that sent Jrue Holiday to Boston. The Celtics also acquired Kristaps Porzingis which to me was the last piece this team needed to make this team great. He’s a stretch big who can space the floor with his shooting and can also defend on the other side of the ball.

With all these moves that the Celtics did last offseason, it’s really paying off. They have a really good shot this season to win it all and hang up their 18th championship banner in the rafters in TD Garden after a 15-year long championship drought.

To many people, the Celtics are the favorites to win it all they will have to overcome a lot of challenges down the road in the playoffs but as of today, they are looking like the real deal.
